Royal Air Force Halton...
Nestled just below Wendover Woods on the edge of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns, this delightful little airfield houses numerous gliders, motor-gliders, microlights, ultralights and a handful of real planes. Its RAF property so not a good idea to just wander around at will without asking. Its a minor facility, teaching cadets to fly gliders, but there is a large civilian contingent based here also.
