Changi Beach and EXPO, Singapore, May 2015

Take the MRT to EXPO and from there walk towards the Changi Business Park in the direction of the airport and eventually you'll see a large recreation green. From here its a pleasant afternoons plane spotting with plenty of trees for shade and a light breeze from the sea. No facilities so bring water, food and use the toilet in the MRT.

On the rare occasion ops switch to landings from across the straits then a trip to Changi Beach is the done thing among local plane spotters. From Changi Airport there is a free shuttle bus to Changi Village, take that. The beach is easy to find! Alternatively find bus 29 from Tanah Merah MRT station - about 30 minutes journey time.

So, on the left a few clicks taken from the business park green and then on the right - snapped from Changi beach.

Seletar Airport 2, Singapore, May 2015

Local bus 103 from Serangoon every 15 minutes, go's to Seletar airport. Frequent stops are located along the airfield perimeter and terminates outside the Fokker facility. Get off at Fokkers and walk down to the terminal building to get a few registration but photos are completely out of the question around here!

Get the bus or walk further around the perimeter to arrive at the pedestrian overpass bridge from where some photos of landings or take-offs can be gained.

Here's what I managed to click over a few hours on a weekday.
