Only a dozen or so gates, but expansion is underway. These photos were taken from inside the departure lounge over a couple of hours using a low end pocket size camera.

Kota Kinabalu Airport April 2012
A regional airport, very close to the city, with a handful of international movements. The runway runs more or less parallel with the beach which of course makes for a rather nice few hours of plane watching - except there really isn't too much in the way of action. a burst of arrivals and departures seems to occur every couple of hours and the very occasional business movement slips by.
A selection of shots mostly from the beach end of the perimeter, some from when aircraft join finals from over the city, climbing over the city and lastly, from the aircraft on the way out.

Siem Reap Airport and Museum, Cambodia January 2012
A small airport primarily to facilitate tourism into the Angkor Wat park. Good views and some nice ground level shots from inside the departure lounge. Just a handful of operators and not a huge amount of traffic flow in the 2 hours I spent waiting for my flight to Saigon.
The museum, the 'War Museum' is its title, is situated on the airport road about halfway between the town and the airport. Just a couple of exhibits that might be of interest to the aviation fan - a giant Russian helicopter and it's either a Mig or Sukhoi fighter jet...
