Situated in a valley with hills and mountains either end of the runway, Pokhara can only accommodate small commuter and STOL aircraft. Helicopters are frequently in and out plus a few microlights operate as pleasure and sightseeing flights. Its a quiet, sleepy little airport, takes only 20 minutes to walk from one end of the runway to the other. Photos though are pretty unique....
