Phnom Penh Pochentong Airport 2012

Phnom Penh.....

Antonov Duo - An12 and an An24
The first of two visits, this one in early January 2012. This photo was snapped from inside the terminal with fear and trepidation as the lens was pointed towards the air force section having checked the place was free from guards. I didn't exactly hang around hence this was all I managed to see.

Visit number 2 beginning of April 2012 and the shots below were grabbed between the aircraft and immigration, which is only a matter of minutes away. Just enough time to take a photo of the plane I had arrived on, and of course the rest of the apron, and airfield contents! My confidence had grown by this time and it didn't seem to be a problem taking photographs although i didn't look towards the air base for any length of time. Unfortunately heat-haze and tinted windows obscures the images.

Its an old Boeing 737-200, but who's?

More Antonov 24's possibly in storage.
