Seething Airfield, Norfolk,England.

Another photo round-up of activity at Seething Airfield, Norfolk, England.

Another Saturday of fabulous flying weather - that's two consecutive Saturdays of fine weather to grace the old wartime airfield at Seething in Norfolk, England. With temperatures forecast to peak at around 30 c some members have opted for an early start, including Heather who has only just mastered her RV7 aeroplane. So, with a light summer breeze and a clear blue sky, flying action gets underway!

Members are in a celebratory mood this lunchtime as its Dave Worsleys Birthday - 50 years young but we didn't really talk about it in depth as he wealds a rather large knife. Joking aside, that cake looks rather delicious, made by Steve Woolston and depicting the venerable Cessna 172.

A vintage visitor today in the shape of a 1944 De Havilland Tiger Moth. G-AHAN flew in from Bicester near Oxford - just the right day to be flying open cockpit.
